[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Demerara Harbour Bridge has resumed operations after a vessel slammed into it Sunday morning causing the bridge to shut down for several hours.
Road users were stuck at both ends of the bridge since vehicles were not allowed to cross.
iNews understands that the retractor span of the bridge would not close as a result of the impact.
