Parents are being asked to pick up their children from the Mae’s School in light of death threats, which have already affected several schools in the city.
According to the school’s administration, “in llight of the recent threat on social media over the weekend, Mae’s Schools has no other alternative but to issue an immediate cancellation of classes from Playgroup to the Secondary department.”
The school said no devices have been cited but the safety and security of the children and staffs are of the utmost importance.
The extent of this shutdown is uncertain at this time, the school said, noting that as soon as the logistics are in place for the resumption of classes, you will be informed accordingly via print and electronic media .
