[www.inewsguyana.com]– Even though incumbent President, Donald Ramotar called on the Guyana Police Force to leave no stone unturned and find the “intellectual authors” behind the killing of Political Activist, Courtney Crum-Ewing, he told supporters in Berbice that the man was more of “nuisance than a threat,” to his government.
The President was speaking to members of the West Berbice Chamber of Commerce, when he reiterated that the PPP/C government was in no way involved in Crum – Ewing’s execution.
“He was no threat to the PPP, he was no threat to the Government, he was more of a nuisance value than anything else, and he was spreading a lot of racist talk on his Facebook,” the President said.
He questioned which political Party stands to benefit from the death of Crum-Ewing in this sensitive time.
“Who will go out there and talk and try to whip up racism, trying to create division, trying to point fingers? If his death was political as they are saying, I would say that he was a pawn that was sacrificed for their own political ends because we certainly don’t have anything to gain by that type of activity. Which Government would want to do anything like that to destabilize themselves?”

Crum-Ewing was gunned down execution style at Third Avenue, Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara on March 10 while urging residents to vote on May 11.
Prior to his death, Crum – Ewing was involved in a one man protest for 80 days in front the office of Attorney General, Anil Nandlall, calling for his resignation following the revelation of a damning recording between him and a Kaieteur News reporter.

u bet he was used n abused by his political handlers. he failed to complete his political handlers mission. the jail break five failed. fineman n skinny failed. they are all sent out by their political handlers to create a race war and in every case they failed to do so. so when these paws failed their political handlers have no more more time for them so they must be erased so later on if they have a change of heart they cant talk

You are the president. Please act presidential. You cannot ask the police to leave no stone unturned and days later accuse folks without any proof.
Leave it up to folks like me to offer theories. Lets look at the facts. Your home affairs Minister is spending serious money on security. patrols. He needs to come front and center on this one.
Where was his patrol at this time? Where was the commander A division at this minute?
Where were the patrols minutes before? What was done minutes after? Since the police patrol was on the scene in such a short space of time and the Commander was on the scene is short space of time. What were the instructions passed within that hour?
Were road blocks set up? Where and when?
Its been weeks now. Has the police been ruled out? Is the Home affairs Minister being briefed and is he documenting his briefing on this investigation? Was your COP given the full authority to seek help from whoever he sees fit?
Mr President the answers to those questions are known to folks who can deliver justice. Trust me on this one. Deal with it properly now or it will cost more later!

The most common theory is that some idiot was not qualified to think this true and they were trying to gain a hall pass and really screwed this one up for the Chatree.

That is a ridiculous argument but it was not unexpected. The comparison with Blackie is even more ridiculous. From his sayings, Ramotar has just convinced me why he should not be the President
It is strange how these so call leaders can call people all kinds of names. How can a man be a nuisance when he is brave enough to stand up and speak up about the ills and corruption that are plaguing our people by this government that has moved away forms of decency and is set to just profit themselves.
