The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is just days away and the Guyana Amazon Warriors are fine tuning their skills.
The entire squad of 17 players are under the keen eyes of Head Coach Roger Harper and Assistant Coach Esuan Crandon at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence daily and will have their first practice match on Sunday July 30, from 6PM.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors, dubbed the most consistent team in CPL will test their readiness against a Guyana Select XI with the likes of Paul Wintz, Akshaya Persaud, Romario Shepherd, Anthony Adams, Tevin Imlach and Eon Hooper.
Cricket loving fans are encouraged to go to Providence and get a firsthand look at their Warriors in action, especially since there will be no admission fee.
The fifth edition of CPL opens on Friday August 4 in St. Lucia with the St. Lucia Stars taking on the Trinbago Knight Riders at the Darren Sammy National Stadium while Guyana Amazon Warriors will get into action the next day in Lauderhill, Florida against the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
