A year’s wait is over and the Caribbean Premier League, the Biggest Party in Sport will bowl off this evening at the Darren Sammy Stadium in St. Lucia. Commencing at 21:00 hrs, former champions Trinbago Knight Riders and the star studded St. Lucia Stars will meet in what is expected to be thrilling affair.
Seasoned campaigners such as Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels and David Miller are expected to turn out for the Stars while the Knight Riders’ squad includes the likes of Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Bravo and Shadab Khan.
Following today’s opener, Guyana Amazon Warriors will take on St. Kitts Patriots on Saturday at 11:00hrs. Barbados Tridents will then tackle Jamaica Tallawahs from 15:00hrs. Both matches will be played in Lauderhill, Florida.
The Biggest Party in Sport comes to Guyana on August 17 with a monumental clash Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs.
