An 84-year-old unvaccinated man from Region One (Barima-Waini) has died as a result of the novel coronavirus, taking the country’s death toll to 1026.
Within the last 24 hour, 44 new cases have been recorded, taking the total positives detected to date to 38,728.
There are 11 persons in the ICU, 44 in institutional isolation, 685 in home isolation, and two in institutional quarantine.
Recoveries stand at 36,962.
