BASSETERRE, St Kitts — Jamaican fast-bowler Sheldon Cottrell is to replace all-rounder Andre Russell in the last One Day International against Bangladesh at Warner Park in St Kitts scheduled for Saturday.
Russell, who was ruled out due to a knee injury, has since had treatment and should be fit for selection for the upcoming three-match T20 series which will start in St Kitts on July 31, informed Cricket West Indies (CWI) in a release today.
The last two matches of the T20 series will be played at Central Broward Regional Park in Florida on August 4 and 5.
