[www.inewsguyana.com] – Fifty – four – year old Mohamed Khan is nursing a gunshot wound after he was shot during a robbery last night (Wednesday, July 09).
According to the Police, Khan of Corneila Ida, West Coast Demerara was on the roadway at Independence Street, La Grange, West Bank Demerara, when he was confronted by a man armed with a handgun and who demanded his valuables.
Khan put up a resistance and was shot to his left side. He was treated at the West Demerara Regional Hospital. The perpetrator escaped on a motor cycle.
Investigations are in progress.
