Police say an intelligence-led operation by ranks, earlier today (Tuesday) has resulted in the arrest of two persons in a motor car with an unlicensed 9mm pistol and seven (7) live matching rounds.
The vehicle was parked in front of their Daisy Street, South Ruimveldt residence.According to a police press release, one of them, a male, was fingered in several recent armed robberies.
They are being processed for court.
