[www.inewsguyana.com] – Mark Mangal of Bar Street Kitty Georgetown appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry charged with break and enter and larceny.
Mangal, who was previously convicted for a similar offence pleaded not guilty to the charge which read that on September 25 at David Street Kitty Georgetown, he broke and entered the dwelling place of Paul Booker and stole several items amounting to $174,000.
According to the allegations, Booker secured his home and went out and upon his return, he noticed his window open after which he conducted a search and noticed the items missing.
The court was also told that on the same day, the accused and another individual were seen in the complainant’s yard fetching out the items. The Chief Magistrate remanded Mark Mangal to prison until October 31. [Royan Abrams]
