[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Venezuelan state-owned airline, Conviasa, will be increasing its flights to and from Guyana.
At a post-Cabinet briefing on Friday, March 7, Presidential Advisor on Governance, Gail Teixeira disclosed that Cabinet has approved the airline’s request to upgrade their non-scheduled air services on the Puerto Ordaz-Georgetown- Puerto Ordaz route.
The non-scheduled flights are to occur twice a week to Guyana, arrangements for will be worked out by the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority.
Conviasa made its inaugural flight to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Timehri in November 2013.
