[www.inewsguyana.com] – Samuel Archer was sentenced to perform 40 hours of community service on a simple larceny charge by Magistrate Dylon Bess.
The 19 – year – old man pleaded guilty to the offence, which stated that on May 7 at Durban Street, Lodge, he stole a speaker box valued $45,000, property of Rhonda Rowe.
Police Prosecutor, Tracy May Gittens told the Court that the Virtual Complainant (VC) is the mother of the accused.
The Prosecutor said the victim secured her home by all means provided and left for work. Upon her return, she discovered that the articles were missing.
The mother told Magistrate Bess that she does not wish to proceed with the matter against her son.
