[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – four – year Colwyn Harding, who was raped with a police baton on November 13, 2013, has been hospitalized following an emergency surgery on Saturday last.
iNews was reliably informed that the young man’s intestine was found to be infected forcing his relatives to rush him to a private city hospital where he was immediately operated upon for more than five hours.
His doctors are expected to release a report sometime this week on his condition.
Harding is reportedly in a semi unconscious state at the private hospital. This latest unfortunate development further sets back the commencement of the trial of the two police ranks, who were charged for his assault since the trial is expected to comment on November 28 at which he is slated to be the first witness to testify.
As a result of being raped, Harding suffered serious injuries to his intestines and was flown to Jamaica for further treatment last year.
this is very once sided reporting, he was recovering and went on to rob a lady of her cellphone, then threatened someone with a cutlass and the person he was threatening punched him in the stomach which caused his intestines to come out
