[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 13:45hrs on Tuesday (January 7) ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) conducted a search on the baggage of a passenger on an outgoing flight to Canada.
A quantity of cocaine was found concealed in the false bottoms of both of his suitcases.
The man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
