[www.inewsguyana.com] – Public Relations Officer of the Mayor and City Council, Royston King was today [Monday, August 25] arrested by the Fraud Division of the Guyana Police Force.
iNews has confirmed that King is expected to be charged and placed before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court at 13:00h today.
Information reaching iNews stated that King allegedly signed off in excess of $30 million in rates and taxes waivers for the Beacon Foundation, while purporting to be the Acting Town Clerk in July 2012.

Jail him, he is a corrupt person who collects money under false pretense. He and his friends have destroyed the city of G/town. This man is one of the biggest fakes, leading a so called environmental group, and he does nothing to improve the city.
Its very strange that charges are made out for Mr king, are we to see the same swift action for all the others who have done far worse than him, This is just another POPET show, We will never learn. SAD,,,,,,
