[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two Chinese nationals were forced to seek medical attention after being shot during a robbery on in front their business place on Robb Street on Wednesday evening (April 30).
According to police, at about 19:45hrs Chinese Nationals 44 – year – old Shai Zing and 29 – year – old Lin Tang, both of Robb Street, Georgetown, were among a group of other Chinese outside of the Zhang Xing business place when two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, approached them.
During the incident, the armed man discharged the firearm hitting Shai Zing to his buttocks and Lin Tang to his right foot. The perpetrators escaped in a waiting motor vehicle. Shai Zing and Lin Tang were treated at the GPHC.
Investigations are in progress.
