The Chinese Company contracted to construct section 7 of the Amaila Falls Access Road, were robbed twice last week.
iNews was reliably informed that bandits struck at the company’s office located in Kingston, Georgetown and their living quarters in Durban Backlands.
Assistant Project Manager of China Railway, Gian Ye confirmed that the first incident took place on Wednesday July 31, at the Durban Backlands location, when four bandits broke into the house and stole a number of cellular phones, laptops, scanner, printer and money.
The second incident occurred on Friday August 2 at their Kingston location, where cellphones, laptops and monies were also stolen.
Ye said that a report was made to the Brickdam Police station.
