[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 24-year-old man of Charlestown, Georgetown, was remanded to prison by Magistrate Ann McLennan on Wednesday, September 09, 2015 for the offense of murder.
Keiron Taylor was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which alleged that on September 04 at Albouystown, Georgetown, he murdered 22 – year old Senasi Lewis.
The unrepresented man old told the court that he is an employee of Junior Pipe and Tanks. The details surrounding the charge were not disclosed by the prosecution; however Police Prosecutor Deniro Jones informed the court that the files are still incomplete and requested more time.
Taylor was remanded to prison and the matter was adjourned to October 01. iNews had reported that Lewis was shot some nine times about the body by two men, as he and three others were standing outside the bar at James and Albouys Street just before 03:00 hrs on September 04.
iNews understands that two men pulled up in a white car, came out on foot and opened fire, hitting Senasi several times. The other men, including a United States citizen, were also injured.
