Chairman of CARICOM, President Dr Irfaan Ali, today, attended an emergency meeting of the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries (CELAC) on deliberations on the violation of the Geneva Convention on Diplomatic Relations after the assault of the Mexican Embassy in Quito by authorities of the Government of Ecuador.
During the meeting, Dr Ali made the following statement:
