Persons at a city store were sent scampering for safety after a car crashed into a part of the side wall of the building, at the corners of North Road and Wellington streets in Georgetown.
The incident which occurred on Tuesday morning caused much panic in the area as persons could have heard the impact from a far distance.
From reports gathered the car was heading south on Wellington Street when it failed to observe the stop sign at North Road making head-on contact with a minibus which was heading west along North road.
No one is reported to have been seriously injured, but both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
