Three persons are now being questioned by Custom Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) ranks in connection with the 89.23 kilograms of cannabis and 20 grams of cocaine found in a Charlestown, Georgetown house on Tuesday last.
The suspects have been identified as 58-year-old Courtney Demonick of Charlestown, 23-year-old Ebony Craig of Lamaha Springs, Sophia and a route 42 bus driver.
INews understands that the house which was reportedly under surveillance by CANU for a lengthy period was raided when CANU received a tip off.
It was then that the drugs which is suspected to have originated from Colombia were discovered.
Demonick and Craig who were found in the Stephen’s Street house at the time were taken into custody, however the third suspect was arrested on Wednesday.
