During Friday August 23, the body of chain-saw operator Chandradat Hussian, 39 years of Goed Bananen Land, East Canje, Berbice, was found hanging in a logging camp at Kurduni, Berbice River.
According to the police, a Port Mortem Examination (PME) was performed on the body today Monday August 26, by Pathologist Dr. Vivekanand Brijmohan who gave the cause of death as ligature strangulation.
Meanwhile, the police say diligent investigations have led to the arrest of a prime suspect who is in custody assisting with the investigations.
