[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 19:00 hrs on Sunday June 21, at Nismes Public Road, West Bank Demerara, and which resulted in the death of Odessa Howard, 37 years, of Canal No.1, WBD.
Investigations have revealed that Howard was the pillion rider on a motor cycle driven by her husband Peter Howard, 55 years, when they were struck down from behind by a motor car.
They received injuries and were taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where Odessa Howard was pronounced dead on arrival and her husband was referred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The driver of the motor car is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
