A Campbellville, Georgetown man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening.
Dead is 31-year-old David Babb of Lot 31 J Duncan Street, Campbellville. The accident occurred on Denis Street near the Campbellville Fire Station.
According to reports, Babb was riding his motorcycle at a fast pace when he lost control.
The dead man’s grandfather, Kenneth Babb, told INews he last saw his grandson, who lives in the same house with him, around 15:00h on the day in question and was unaware of the accident until Thursday morning.
He related that around 07:00h, the Police visited his home and informed him that David had been in an accident and died. His body is at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a post-mortem examination as Police continue their investigations.
