[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Camp Street prisoner caught with Marijuana was fined $3,000 together with six months imprisonment.
Anand Baldeo pleaded guilty to the charge before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry. The Court heard that on November 11 at Camp Street Prison, Georgetown, he had in his possession two grammes of Marijuana.
The unrepresented man was also ordered to perform community service at the Georgetown Magistrates Court.
