[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are being conducted into a report that at about 01:30hrs on Tuesday, April 08, businessmen Itram Narine, 46 years, and Khemraj, 45 years, of Port Kaituma, North West District, were attacked and robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, while in their motor vessels at the mouth of the Waini River, NWD.
According to the police, the gunmen came up in another boat and held up the two victims and took away a total of $US15, 800 and their four outboard motor engines and escaped.
The two victims were left adrift and managed to reach ashore at Morawhanna, NWD, during last night.
