[www.inewsguyana.com] – Top table tennis athletes, Shemar Britton, Kyle Edghill and Trenace Lowe captured wins at the inaugural Jamaican table tennis winter championships at the weekend.
Britton won the male 21 years and under category while Kyle Edghill topped Britton to win the 18 years and under category.
Trenace Lowe was in top form winning the female singles title at the event. Meanwhile, both Britton and Edinho Lewis were knocked out at the semifinal stage of the men’s singles competition.
Veteran Colin France lost in the final of the male 50 years and over category while finishing third in the 40 Years and over category.
The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) General Secretary, Linden Johnson was the coach of the contingent which was sponsored by Fly Jamaica.
