At least six persons are confirmed injured following an accident at approximately 10:00hrs today at Herstelling Public Road, East Bank Demerara.
While details of the accident remain sketchy, INews understands that the minibus slammed into a utility pole after it struck down a girl on the Public Road. The other injured persons were all passengers in the minibus.
The injured persons were all rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where they are being treated.
