[www.inewsguyana.com] – The bodies of two young East Indians were found along the Kingston Seawall in the vicinity of the Pegasus Hotel on Monday afternoon.
iNews understands that the bodies – a male and a female – were spotted by persons who were in the area at the time exercising.
Commander of ‘A’ Division, Clifton Hicken has confirmed the discovery and said that the investigations into the matter are ongoing.
Sources have confirmed that police removed two bottles that are suspected to contain poison from the scene. The bodies were found without any marks of violence and police are working the possibility that the duo committed suicide.
So far the bodies have not been identified. Commander Hicken stated that the police are still making attempts to do so.
