Public Health Minister, Dr George Norton, has apologised over his recent involvement in the controversial drugs bond deal with Linden Holding Inc. to store medicines and medical supplies for the Georgetown Hospital and the Ministry of Public Health.
In accepting full responsibility for the entire sordid affair, the Minister said that he has made a mistake and would do his utmost to ensure that this does not happen again.
Over the past few days, several stakeholders have been calling on the government to scrap the entire contract entered into with Linden Holding Inc.
