Brazil’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mauro Vieira is scheduled to visit Guyana to engage in bilateral talks with top Government officials here next week.
Brazil’s Ambassador to Guyana, Lineu Pupo De Paula paid a courtesy call on President David Granger to update him on the arrangements for the visit. According to a release from the Ministry of the Presidency, the Ambassador said that the objective of this meeting is to bolster collaboration between the two countries.
He said that areas such as military and technical cooperation and issues relating to CELAC, UNASUR and other regional mechanisms, to which both countries are party, will also form part of the agenda.
