The 2014 Commonwealth Games will be held from July 23 – August 3 in Glasgow Scotland.
According to Persaud, they are looking to better the performance and to kill two birds with one stone as they also warm up for the West Indies Full Bore Championship.
That regional championship is billed for early next month in Jamaica and the annual International Shooting programme at Bisley, United Kingdom, a few weeks before the games.
In past endeavors in 2010 at the X1X Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, Persaud and Goodluck had teamed up to place fifth in the pairs competition, representing the best showing by a Guyana team at the games.
