[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ransford Goodluck and Lennox Brathwaite traded top spots as the riflemen continue to find form ahead of this year’s West Indies Full Bore Championship.
In a shoot held on March 3, Goodluck outdid Brathwaite in trying conditions, chalking up an aggregate of 111 and 6 V’s comparison to Goodluck’s 32 with 2 V’s and an overall aggregate of 115 and 5 V’s.
The following weekend however saw Brathwaite return the favor in hot conditions, piling on an aggregate of 117 and 8 V’s ahead of National Captain Mahendra Persaud’s 114 and 6 V’s and Goodlucks 113 and 8 V’s.
At the 300 yard range, Brathwaite recorded 49 with 4 V’s, the 600 34 with one V and 34 with three V’s at the 900 yard range for a 117 score with 8 V’s.
In the same ranges, Goodluck managed a 46 with 4 V’s, 33 with 3 V’s and 34 with one V in his 113 point average with 8 V’s.The team will resume training next Sunday.
