A teenager was Saturday afternoon robbed by two bandits on a motorcycle while on his way home from lessons.
The incident occurred at about 16:30 hours at West Minister Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara.
According to police reports, the 13-year-old boy was heading home from lessons when he was approached by the two males on an XR motorcycle.
One of the men jumped off the motorcycle and pointed a black metal gun to the victim’s head and relieved him of a LG cellular phone valued $35,000 and $500 cash. The perpetrators then made good their escape.
The police were summoned and the area was searched for the suspects but they were not seen.
