[www.inewsguyana.com] – After three full days of searching; the body of Essequibo miner Kelton Benjamin was recovered just after 02:00hrs on Wednesday April 08.
According to a police statement, the body of the 21-year-old was recovered in the Pomeroon River.
Benjamin was among several persons who were involved in a boat-collision in the Pomeroon River on April 05, 2015.
Reports indicate that the young miner of Coffee Grove, Essequibo Coast was traveling along with his sister Keralisa Benjamin and other church members to attend a church service at Friendship in the Lower Pomeroon River.
When the two boats collided, his body was flung into the river.
