[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigators are likely to question the ex-lover of the mother of Alisa Ali, the 15 – year – old Campbellville Secondary School student of Cummings Lodge whose nude body was discovered on the Turkeyen foreshore on Wednesday morning.
iNews understands that the mother had recently separated from the man and according to reports, he then began threatening the teenager.
Meanwhile, police investigators during a visit to the teen’s house, reportedly found a suicide note in her bedroom. iNews understands that the note indicated that she would already be dead by the time anyone found the letter.
Investigators also questioned Alisa’s teacher and classmates. Relatives told iNews that the young lady and her mother were not on speaking terms during the time of her disappearance and subsequent death.
It was pointed out that the teenager, who is the youngest of her siblings, was sent to purchase bread close to her Cummings Lodge residence on Tuesday evening but never returned home.
Police sources have indicated that however that a report was never made that the child was missing and up to the time the body was discovered, the mother nor relatives had reported that the teenager was missing.
According to information reaching iNews, it was on Wednesday afternoon that family members began calling around to persons suggesting that the teenager was missing and that was when they were told of a body being found at the Turkeyen foreshore.
Alisa is the youngest of four sisters and one brother. The family once lived on the West Coast Demerara but moved to the East Coast Demerara just over a year ago; her father passed away some four years ago.
