Biker dies after crashing into utility pole

[www.inewsguyana.com] – An early morning accident has left one dead after he lost control of his motorcycle on the Clifton Public Road, Corentyne and slammed into a utility pole.

Dead is 38 – year – old Vincent Indhal of Cromarty, Corentyne, who was a biker and a retired US army officer. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port Mourant Hospital after he was rushed there by public spirited citizens on Monday, February 17.

The uncle of the deceased, Roopnarine Matadial while speaking with iNews disclosed that Vincent received a telephone call on Sunday to go to a bike show. The accident occurred at approximately 02:00hrs.

The man said that he saw his nephew’s lifeless body on the roadway after the accident, with one of his hands severed. According to reports, the Biker was apparently speeding when he lost control of the motorcycle. Investigations are ongoing.[Royan Abrams]
