[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are ongoing into the murder of 26 – year old Jasmattie Dowlatram, of Anchorville, Port Mourant, Corentyne, which occurred at about 22: 00h on Friday night (December 6) at Anchorville.
Police investigations so far revealed that the woman had an argument with a man with whom she shared a relationship and during which he is alleged to have assaulted her about her body with a piece of wood. She succumbed while receiving medical attention at the Port Mourant Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
