According to the police, at about 12:10 hrs on Sunday, ranks of a police mobile patrol conducted a search on a motor car PSS 8296 at Sheet Anchor Village, East Canje, Berbice, in which they found an unlicensed .22 Beretta Pistol with one round. Kallicharran is presently before the court on five counts of robbery under arms for which he is on bail.
We’ll said,,THANK YOU!!!
So true these guys should be put away and forget about. This will bring peace to a lot of innocent hard working civilians
The magistrate who granted Kalicharran bail in the first instance should now be suspended – with pay- and investigated why bail was granted.
Many times known criminals are granted bail only to engaged in similar or worse criminal activities. This is undermining the work of the police who have been criticised for not getting criminals off the streets. Any one caught being in possession of arms and or ammunition without a licence should be detained without bail. End of story!!!
