Police in Berbice are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a West Berbice, Region Five (Mahaica/Berbice) labourer who reportedly fell off of a lorry on which he was working on Tuesday afternoon.
The dead man has only been identified as “Donkey Head”.
The incident reportedly took place at Rosignol Village.
Following the incident, he was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital in an unconscious state and later transferred to the New Amsterdam Hospital.
However, he died while receiving medical attention. An investigation has been launched.
