[www.inewsguyana.com] – Fifty – eight – year old Deonarine Juianand was found hanging from the ceiling of his No. 19 Village, Corentyne Berbice house shortly after severely chopping his wife.
According to a police report, at about 15:00hrs on Monday, February 16 the man was involved in an argument with his wife, 50 – year – old Totmattie Juianand, during which he is alleged to have chopped her about her body.
She has been admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital. The man was later found hanging from the ceiling in his home; he was rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations are in progress.
