[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Beharry group of companies is the latest entity to come on board with the Youth Basketball Guyana organization for their Regional Basketball Championships.
The company recently handed over sponsorship to the Y.B.G.’s Director Chris Bowman ahead of the event’s commencement.
In collecting the sponsorship, Bowman expressed his appreciation and ensured that the competition will be of the highest standard.
Speaking on behalf of the Company’s Marketing Director, Anjuli Beharry- Strand said that they are always pleased to sponsor youth based activities in the country.
Beharry- Strand added that the company also feels the need to fulfill its corporate responsibility in the development of sport and its activities.
The tournament which features the top teams from various zones across Guyana is set to begin shortly.
Last year, the event attracted schools such as Marian Academy, Plaisance as well as Kwakwani and President’s College, to name a few.
