[www.inewsguyana.com] – Five-A-Side football will be hitting the beach on Sunday, September 28 when Nebula Promotions host their first beach football competition behind Selena’s on the Sea Wall from 18:00hrs.
Eight teams will be vying for over $200,000 in cash and prizes with the first place team taking the top prize of $150,000 while second place will receive $60,000.
The tournament is expected to be the same as regular 5-A-side football with the only difference being that there will be a goal keeper assigned to a much bigger goal than the regular five-A-side goal to give the crowd a bit more excitement.
The teams expected to participate in the tournament are, Albouystown, Tiger Bay, Back Circle, West Front Road, Broad Street, Alexander Village, Leopole Street and another team yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, patrons will be allowed to enjoy the high octane action for a cheap entrance price of $500.
