A bartender attached to Seeta’s Bar in Kitty appeared before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty to answer three charges, which includes two counts of abusive language and one count of threatening behaviour.
Forty – four – year old Peter Gorsahai of Station Street Kitty Georgetown pleaded not guilty to all three charges. The court was told that on July 07 at Station Street Georgetown; Gorsahai made use of abusive language against Gopaul Persaud and Beena Narine.
He was also accused of threatening behaviour against Sunil Persaud. Based on the information presented in court; Police Prosecutor Dinero Jones did not object to bail but noted that if bail is granted the accused should also be placed on a bond to keep the peace pending the termination of the matter.
Peter Gorsahai was placed on $30,000 bail and a bond to keep the peace. He will return to court on July 18. [Royan Abrams]
