[www.inewsguyana.com] – Anthony Bramble played intelligently for his half century when the first day of the third round of the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) Professional Cricket League (PCL) Four-day competition bowled off on Friday at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.
Despite, Bramble’s brilliance with the bat as he scored 73 runs, Ryan Hinds led a disciplined bowling effort as Barbados Pride ended the day in a strong position.
Guyana made 261 while Barbados ended on four without loss with openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Kyle Corbin on two each.
Shimron Hetmyer ended the day with 47 runs as the next best batsman for Guyana as Hinds ended with figures of 4 for 50. Dwayne Smith and Jomel Warrican supported with 2-20 and 2-52 respectively.
The Guyana Jaguars are leading the standing with 34 points.
