[www.inewsguyana.com] – With the South American Under-23 games little over a month away, the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) is tentatively looking at hosting the trials on September 14 at the Guyana Police Force ground, Eve Leary.
While both the date and the venue are still not set in stone, President of the AAG Aubrey Hutson did confirm that the mentioned date and venue is what the Association has in mind at the moment.
Hutson also revealed that because they still have the National Senior trials to run off, the Association will be hoping to combine both the senior championships and the under-23 trials into one mega event.
The event will be looked at keenly by selectors in order to arrive at the South American under-23 team which is set for late October in Uruguay.
