[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) is hoping to move the sport forward after hosting their first retreat of the current administration.
With a brief opening ceremony at the Splashmins Resort, President of the AAG Aubrey Hutson was clear on what his approach has been over the years.
“Since becoming President – I’ve worked tirelessly with my council to ensure that the new national approach to athletes take form – a new dispensation. It is not to do away with what happen prior to us taking office, it’s to enhance what was done before and take it to the next level,” he mentioned.
Hutson also explained that the retreat was to find a way forward for the sport which was deemed a success.
After the ‘break out session’ points and suggestions by the various groups were presented as the meeting as the AAG hopes to put their plans into action for the New Year.
