iNews reporters on the scene in front of KFC, Stabroek have confirmed that an alleged robber was shot in the abdomen this afternoon, Wednesday September 4, as he tried to rob a man.
iNews understands that as the crowd was increasing in front of the busy area, the alleged robber tried to rob another man who was on his way home when a scuffle ensued and the robber was shot.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital. It is not yet clear who shot the alleged robber. More details to follow.
