[www.inewsguyana.com] – Dyanmic Airways has reportedly cancelled all its flights from the John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) until August 8.
According to the Airline’s Local Representative, Captain Gerald ‘Gerry’ Gouveia, this cancellation is due to operational difficulties the airline encountered while trying to secure time slots at the JFK airport for the month of July.
“We are announcing temporary suspension of JFK – GEO service until August 8th 2014,” Gouveia said in a Facebok post.
He noted however, that the Airline will transport passengers who have already started their travel and are impacted by this temporary suspension.
Dynamic will refund all passengers traveling during the period July 17 – August 8 and a compensatory voucher for future purchase will also be given. Gouveia assured that “all passengers will be contacted by Dynamic Airways directly or by their respective travel agents.”
According to Gouveia, “this temporary suspension will allow us to secure time slots at JFK airport, organize better ground handling and check in process as well as secure schedule integrity which Dynamic Airways is well known for”. However, flights starting from August 8 will not be impacted by this change.
Only last week over 90 passengers traveling with the Airline were delayed at the Miami International Airport after there was no staff present to refuel its plane.
Dynamic Airways hit its first snag during its inaugural flight to New York on June 27, which led the airline to fire its ground handler, causing hours of delay and missed connecting flights for its passengers.
Hello good morning to you all I will like to know if Dynamic Airway is going to be in services anything soon.
