[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – six – year old Berkumar Ramrattan is nursing a gunshot wound to his right foot, after he was attacked by two men on Monday night.
iNews understands that at about 17:30 hrs on November 23, 2015, Ramrattan, of Hogg Street, Albouystown, was about to enter his residence when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm.
According to the police, the men demanded cash to which Ramrattan resisted and he was shot and injured to his right foot. The perpetrators took away $30,000.00 and escaped in a waiting motor car.
Ramrattan has been admitted to hospital and investigations are in progress.
